Building a Better Tomorrow
Weaving Wealth, Nurturing Earth, Harvesting Water
Sustainability at Mewar Polytex Group
At Mewar Polytex Group, we believe that true growth lies in progress that benefits not just the business, but also the environment, society, and future generations. As a leading manufacturer of PP/HDPE woven fabrics, our commitment to sustainability is deeply rooted in our values and reflected in every action we take. Through consistent Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, we actively work to bring lasting change to communities and the environment.
We recognise that sustainability isn’t a one-time initiative, it’s a continuous journey of responsibility, care, and innovation.

A Holistic Vision for Sustainability
Our sustainability practices are guided by three core principles

People First
From education and healthcare to safety and infrastructure, we invest in improving lives.

Sustainable Progress
Our rainwater harvesting and clean water initiatives reflect our commitment to environmental stewardship.

Inclusive Growth
We strive to create equal opportunities through learning, skill development, and meaningful employment. Our focus areas include fire and safety training, Power BI for data-driven decision-making, and Advanced Excel for productivity and efficiency. These programs empower our team with practical skills and knowledge for long-term growth.
01
Environmental Sustainability – Protecting Nature
Our environmental initiatives focus on safeguarding natural resources, reducing emissions, and preserving biodiversity.

Plantation
We are actively expanding green cover by planting trees across industrial zones and surrounding communities. These efforts not only enhance biodiversity and improve air quality but also create cooler microclimates and contribute to a more balanced ecosystem.
Rainwater Harvesting
Our rainwater harvesting systems are installed across all our facilities to reduce reliance on groundwater. We’ve set up rainwater harvesting systems in 160 schools and several government offices to support water sustainability where it’s needed most. By collecting and storing rainwater, these systems help capture and store rainwater, significantly contributing to groundwater recharge and increasing the water table levels beneath the soil, especially in high-usage zones. This initiative not only ensures better water access for students and communities but also promotes awareness about responsible water use from a young age.
Recycling
At Mewar Polytex Group, recycling is not an afterthought — it is a core part of how we operate. We are committed to building a cleaner future by ensuring every material is used thoughtfully, efficiently, and sustainably.
100% Waste Recycling
We recycle 100% of the production waste generated at our manufacturing units. Every scrap is recovered, reprocessed, and reused, helping us minimize our environmental impact and move closer to a truly circular production model.
Material Reusability Based on GSM & Fabric Type
Our recycling strategy is highly specialized. Based on the GSM (Grams per Square Meter) and type of fabric, we carefully repurpose materials into new applications. Reprocessed granules from HDPE and Polypropylene are tailored for different end uses, maximizing resource efficiency.
Recycled Polypropylene and HDPE Fabric
As a trusted leader in Polypropylene and HDPE Fabrics we reintegrate recycled materials directly into our production lines. This approach not only conserves resources but also significantly reduces our carbon footprint, making our products more sustainable without compromising quality.
Sustainable Product Development
The recycled materials we produce are used to create eco-conscious products that support industries aiming for greener, more responsible packaging and material solutions. We help our customers meet their own sustainability goals through high-quality recycled fabrics.
In-House Recycling Infrastructure
All our facilities are equipped with advanced in-house recycling systems. These systems handle, sort, and process waste efficiently, allowing us to control quality and improve recycling rates without relying on external vendors.
Zero Waste to Landfill Approach
Our goal is simple: zero waste to landfill. By channeling all production scrap back into usable raw material streams, we eliminate waste disposal while creating new value from existing resources.
Segregation Based on Fabric Type and Thickness
We systematically segregate waste based on fabric type and GSM. This ensures that each batch of recycled material is optimized for the best possible reuse, enhancing performance in new production.
Quality Retention in Recycled Materials
Our recycling processes are designed to maintain the key strength, durability, and functionality of HDPE and PP materials. This allows recycled fabrics to meet high-performance standards, supporting real-world applications without compromise.
Collaboration with Sustainable Partners
We believe sustainability is a collective responsibility. We actively collaborate with suppliers, clients, and partners who share our commitment to sustainable practices, strengthening the culture of sustainability across the value chain.
Solar Power
Our commitment to clean energy is reflected in our robust solar infrastructure, with an installed capacity exceeding 12 MW across 14 of our manufacturing plants. The electricity generated is directly utilized in our production processes, powering machinery and equipment to reduce our dependence on conventional energy sources.
Social Sustainability – Empowering People
We believe that real change begins with people. Through community engagement and ethical business conduct, we aim to uplift lives and build stronger communities.

Economic Sustainability – Growing Responsibly
We aim to grow in ways that are financially sustainable and ethically sound.
- We build long-term partnerships with like-minded suppliers and clients who share our values.
- Our recycling and energy-saving initiatives contribute to cost efficiency and long-term business resilience.
This approach ensures we remain competitive while caring for the planet and the people who inhabit it.

Our Commitment
Sustainability is a continuous journey. We are committed to innovation, transparency, and accountability in everything we do. By aligning with global goals and local needs, Mewar Polytex Group strives to be a positive force for nature, people, and progress.

Sustainable Manufacturing Practices
At Mewar Polytex Group, sustainability starts on the production floor. We are constantly innovating our manufacturing processes to reduce our environmental impact and conserve natural resources:
- Recycling of Polypropylene Waste:Â We recycle internal PP/HDPE production waste, minimizing landfill contributions.
- Waste Management:Â We follow a zero-waste approach by recycling 100% of the waste generated at our manufacturing units
- Water Conservation:Â We implement closed-loop systems in operations to minimise water waste and maintain groundwater levels.
- Compliance and Audits:Â We comply with local and global environmental regulations and undergo regular audits to ensure high environmental and ethical standards.
These practices ensure our products don’t just meet quality standards—they meet ethical and environmental expectations too.

Circular Economy
We embrace the principles of a circular economy to reduce waste, maximise resource efficiency, and extend the lifecycle of materials. Our goal is to move away from a traditional “take-make-dispose” model and build a regenerative production system.
- 100% in-house recycling of PP/HDPE waste allows us to reintroduce materials back into the production cycle.
- We design products with recyclability in mind, encouraging sustainable use from production to end-of-life.
- By integrating waste reduction into our operations, we contribute to a more resilient, cost-efficient, and environmentally sound manufacturing ecosystem.
This closed-loop model not only supports our sustainability vision and lowers environmental impact across the value chain.
Looking Ahead: Our Promise to the World
As Mewar Polytex Group expands across the world, our promise remains clear:
To manufacture responsibly, act consciously, and contribute meaningfully to a better future.
We invite partners, customers, and communities to join us in building a more sustainable tomorrow, where growth is shared, progress is responsible, and
every action counts.
