He has a wealth of experience in engineering as well as plastics textile industry. In 1963, he received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from MS University, Baroda, and in 1965, he received his master’s degree from California. He oversaw developing control systems for the Space and Advanced Energy Programs.
Sandeep Bapna is a commerce graduate. In 1993, he received an MBA with a finance concentration from Mumbai’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, following his B.Com. (Hons). Following that, he began working for his father’s company, Mewar Polytex Ltd. He has played a vital role in developing the group’s business from Rs. 3 crores in 1993 to Rs. 650 crores in 2022. He was instrumental in the formation of Anita Plastics, Inc., a distribution company in the United States.
He led the team that established Harmony Plastics P. Ltd. in 2005 to produce construction fabrics in collaboration with Alpha ProTech of the United States.
He has also served in a leadership role on Rajasthan’s Plastics Export Committee.
He serves as the Managing Director of Mewar Polytex Group.
He has 43 years of expertise in the plastic textile sector. In 1977, he graduated from the Ujjain Government College of Engineering with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
He has been with the Group since its foundation in 1979 and has been an active contributor to its growth.
With his significant technical expertise and experience, he has played a critical part in developing numerous new products and addressing many production/technical challenges.
He has been guiding and training young team members to become self-sufficient and efficient.
He serves as the Technical Director of Mewar Polytex Group.
He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Durgapur in 1982, studied LLB in 2006, and participated in PLAM (Program in Leading & Managing) organized by IIM Calcutta as part of his academic career.
He began his professional career as a project engineer with BST Engineering Services.
In various roles, he worked on projects including India’s 1st thermal power plant of Tata Electric Company at Trombay, NTPC/ VSTPP, Renusagar Power Company, GHCL, and others.
He joined Mewar Polytex Group in the year 2009. He currently serves on the position of Director and has been instrumental in setting up manufacturing facilities of non-woven apparels. He also looks after the geotextile segment of the group’s manufacturing capabilities.
He is a textile engineer from IIT Delhi. He has worked in the plastic textile industry for over 40 years. He has worked in every facet of this industry, from manufacturing to sales and technology development.
In 1994, he joined Lohia Starlinger Ltd (now Lohia Corp Ltd.) and played a key role in establishing the woven plastics business vertical and helping the company gain recognition and becoming a key player in this world of Raffia machinery manufacturing.
He left Lohia Corp Ltd. in 2016 to commence his career at Mewar Polytex Ltd. starting in 2017.
Mr. Bagga is well-versed in business development and strategy and is determined to support the company’s growth and success. He serves as the Director of business and systems development.
In 1996, she graduated from Jaihind College and earned a master’s degree in business from Mumbai University.
She is now enrolled in the S.P. Jain School of Global Management’s Global Owner’s Management course.She has worked with the company since 2010. She serves as a Director of the group and oversees the human resources department. She is also in charge of the Mewar Polytex group’s CSR efforts.
He has worked in the plastic textile sector for over 6 years. In 2014, he graduated from NMIMS University with a degree in Software Engineering and an MBA in Technology Management. For ten months, he worked as a management trainee at Mewar Polytex, establishing new processes.
He subsequently went on to earn a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of Miami to better comprehend other cultures and management approaches. He has been a full-time employee of the organization since 2016. Since then, he has focused on establishing systems and processes in the firm, and he is also in charge of the production operations of a few Group companies.
He serves in the position of Director and manages Sales in India and overseas.
